Even after two consecutive incidents of goof-ups in the examination, students of Gujarat university continue to suffer. On Tuesday, students of BA semester 1 of Bhavan's college in Khanpur were left disappointed when their French question paper was asked out of syllabus. Realizing the same, when they complained to college authorities, a revised paper through email was called for and print-outs of the same were distributed.

However, by the time the revised paper reached the students, an hour had passed. The National Students Union of India (NSUI) has sought for re-examination to be conducted to give justice to students. Speaking about the same, Farhan Shaikh, secretary, NSUI said, "Students will lose out of marks as they could not finish the paper. They received the paper late. Such incidents are being repeated and the university is not taking any action."

We have demanded the exam to be conducted again failing which we will stage a protest, he said. Calls made to the controller of examination P M Patel was not answered.

On Monday, BA psychology students received question papers based on the new syllabus for their third-semester examination, which had to be cancelled. The students were in shock upon receiving the question paper as they could not understand the questions. A student had said, "When we learnt about the incident, we went to the registrar and controller of examination and requested them to cancel it. The new syllabus has not been implemented yet. It will be implemented from next year. I was shocked to see the paper as it had new elements in it." Two days ago, the university failed to send the required number of question papers to an examination centre in time, due to which, students lost more than 30 minutes of their time. The incident took place at KK Shastri College in Khokhra, which was a centre for MA final semester examination.
