This year, admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses seem as gloomy as that for engineering courses. Colleges are likely to struggle to fill their vacant seats. Only 35% of the students who registered for the MBA and MCA courses made it to the merit list declared by the Admissions Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).

There are 108 MBA colleges in the state with a total of 8,979 seats. As many as 3,154 students had registered for the course, of which only 2,932 students made it to the merit list. For the 4,732 seats in 66 MCA colleges, a total of 1,455 students had registered, of which 1,415 made it to the list. The choice-filling process began on July 9.

Students who have got admission can take a print out of the information letter between July 9 and July 13, and confirm their admission by paying fees.
