Gujarat: IMD says temperature likely to rise by two degrees over next two days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday stated that the maximum temperature in the state is likely to increase by two degrees in the next two days and that the mercury will remain around 40 degree Celsius till April 20.

At present, northerly to northeasterly winds are prevailing at a lower level across the region. This is likely to bring dry and hot winds from the plains. As a result, most of the regions across the state are going to experience dry weather.

The prediction for today suggests that the sky will be clear. The maximum temperature is expected to be remain around 40 degree Celsius, while minimum temperature is expected to be remain around 24 degree Celsius.

On Tuesday, the mercury remained at 40.2 degree Celsius but the feel like temperature was around 42 degree Celsius as per the private weather agencies.
