Three complaints of burglary, worth Rs 8.5lakh including valuables, were lodged with Sola, Chandkheda and Danilimda police on Tuesday, aday before the second phase of polls. Satish Patel (43), of Harmony Housing -3, had lodged a complaint with the Sola police. An unidentified man had burgled his house and made off with valuables, including five silver statues, worth Rs 5.9 lakh.

The police are investigating the matter by scanning CCTV footages recovered from the nearby area. An insider's role could not be suspended as yet. A complaint was lodged by 30-year-old Shiraj Meman, where valuables worth Rs1.9lakh were stolen.
