Gujarat elections 2017: ‘Chai pe Charcha’ returns with ‘Vikas', BJP's carpet-bombing session kicks off today

Wherein BJP leaders and workers will listen to PM Narendra Modi’s programme Mann ki Baat on radio and TV over a tea party and will discuss development agendas of the Centre and Gujarat government

BJP has planned a programme called Mann ki Baat, Chai ke Saath to enthrall voters in poll-bound Gujarat. The programme will be held on Sunday across more than 50,000 booths in the state, wherein BJP leaders and workers will listen to PM Narendra Modi’s programme Mann ki Baat on radio and TV over a tea party and will discuss development agendas of the Centre and Gujarat government. BJP national president Amit Shah will remain in Dariapur in Ahmedabad city.

Union ministers Arun Jaitley, Smriti Irani, Dharmendra Pradhan, Uma Bharati, Piyush Goyal, Juel Oram, Parshottam Rupala, Mansukh Mandaviya Hari Chaudhary and Jaswantsinh Bhabhor will remain in Gujarat for the event. Other leaders of BJP at central and state level will also participate in the programme at different places across Gujarat.

Gujarat BJP spokesperson Jagdish Bhavsar said, “Leaders of national level including Amit Shah, Union ministers and BJP will attend this even and talk to voters here. Leaders and ministers from other states ruled by BJP also will participate.”

“Apart from the programme, our carpet bombing campaign will kick start on the same day, inaugurated by Amit Shah from Shuklatirth in Bharuch. He will address a rally here. The carpet-bombing programme will be held on November 26 and 27, in which our leaders will hold rallies in different places in Gujarat. This will cover all 89 seats, in which polls are to be held on November 9, “ added Bhavsar.

The leaders who are going to address rallies besides Shah are, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadanvis, Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh, Union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Dharmendra Pradhan, JP Nadda, Piyush Goyal, Juel Oram, Uma Bharati, Hansraj Ahir, Radha Mohan Singh and others like Rupa Ganguly, Manoj Tiwari and Paresh Rawal.

PM Narendra Modi will address rallies on November 27 and 29 in Saurashtra-Kutch and south Gujarat.
