Gujarat Elections 2017: BJP, PAAS workers clash during rally

BJP and PAAS members clashed at Bapunagar during PAAS leader Hardik Patel's rally on Monday. The incident took place at around 5.30pm near the Bapunagar crossroad, when one of the BJP member started abusing PAAS members.

The PAAS members responded to the said BJP member, other BJP supporters raised their voice and started arguing with PAAS members. The dispute took a violent turn after the PAAS members started beating up a BJP member. As PAAS members went on offensive, BJP members allegedly hurled stones during the rally. Even PAAS members retaliated by throwing stones at BJP supporters. Police immediately sprung in to action and brought the situation under control.
