Gujarat BJP leader Jetha Solanki, who resigned from all the posts in his party on Saturday, is likely to join the Congress soon.

Solanki had a meeting in Kodinar with his supporters where he hinted at joining the Congress soon. He said, "I can join the Congress if they give me a ticket. If the BJP does not find me suitable, I would contest from Congress and prove my might."

"Congress has contacted me and I could join them.On the other side, BJP is trying to muzzle my voice," added Solanki.

A senior leader of BJP said, "Solanki is very skeptical. He had started suspicious activities one year back. He wrote his resignation six months back also but we convinced him to not to do so."
