If her poll affidavit is anything to go by, BJP MLA and the party's candidate from Bhuj constituency Nima Acharya has grown older by only three years in the last five years.

In the affidavit filed along with her nomination papers on Tuesday, the senior MLA and BJP nominee from Bhuj seat in Kutch stated her age as 69.

In her 2012 election affidavit, she had stated her age as sixty six.

The anomaly in the affidavit was spotted by her Congress rival Aadam Chaki who distributed copies of the 'erroneous' declaration in the affidavit to media.

He also complained to the election officials about the same and demanded cancellation of his rival's nomination form.

Acharya could not be reached for a comment.
