Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani proposes national events at Statue site

Rupani also says that his government would develop all kinds of state-of-the-art amenities at the site of the world's tallest statue

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, on Thursday, proposed that all national level or international level events, conferences and conventions to be held in Gujarat, should be organised at the site of Statue of Unity. Rupani also said that his government would develop all kinds of state-of-the-art amenities at the site of the world's tallest statue.

"I want national or international-level conferences or meetings to be held in Gujarat to be organised at the site of the Statue of Unity. Our government will develop all kinds of world-class and state-of-the-art facilities at this place to facilitate the guests who visit this place," CM said.

"We have a vision to make this place a spot for global tourism and hope that people from all across the globe visit. This is the place to unite all the people of India." Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh CM will be the first politician guest from outside Gujarat visiting the Statue of Unity. Yogi Adityanath will visit statue on Friday.

President Kovind to visit on Dec 15

President Ram Nath Kovind will visit the Statue of Unity on December 15. The Statue was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi yesterday. Rupani said that chief ministers, union ministers, industrialists, and artists, would be visiting the statue in the coming weeks.
