Chief Minister Vijay Rupani’s government’s first budget will shower good allocations in sectors such as rural, farming and labour. The CM has accepted the same mantra that PM Narendra Modi gave to him of serving the class, existing at the lowest level of the pyramid of the economy. The size of the budget is estimated near 1.90 lakh crore and it will be a kind of populist budget with launching many schemes for needy class.

The finance minister and the deputy chief minister, Nitin Patel, will start his speech on budget in Tuesday in Gujarat assembly at 12:00 noon. A senior functionary in the government said, “The government has decided to launch new schemes for the needy people may it be farmers, labourers, students and youth. This budget will have many things for all as we have focused over the rural sector with good allocation in farming sector. The government is also going to make announcement that will benefit small and medium scale industries that will generate jobs for youth as a result.”

Dy CM Nitin Patel said, “The budget will bring smile on everyone’s face. This will be a people centric budget.”

“The rural sector will have a share of 35% out of a total allocation, including farming, infra, animal husbandry, education and employment. Size of the budget will be near to Rs. 1.90 lakh crore, a bit more than last budget. The urban sector will also receive huge grants for development of infrastructure,” said the functionary.
