A complaint was lodged with the Naroda police station on Saturday by a 76-year-old radiology doctor after he was threatened to leave from his own clinic by three accused and threw his belonging out of his clinic.

As per police, the complaint was lodged by victim Mahendra Belani, a resident of Chandkheda. He owns a clinic in the Naroda area and works as a radiology doctor. He stated that in the year 1983 he had bought the shop located in Naroda from Kanubhai Chara, a resident of Charanagar and he has all the documents in place. The shop was later converted into a clinic by the doctor.

From the past eight months, there was renovation work going inside his clinic due to which he used to give a spare key to the shop owner beside his clinic. On Saturday morning Belani had gone to Visnagar for some work, at around 10 am he got a call from his neighbouring shop owner, stating that Poonam Chara (wife of Kanubhai Chara), her son and daughter-in-law had forcefully taken the keys from him and got inside the clinic.

At around 2 pm when Belani reached to his clinic, his belonging was thrown out and the three accused threatened to beat him up. They asked him to get out of his clinic too.

H.B Vaghela, Inspector of Naroda police station said, "We are investigating the matter right now and it was too early to reveal anything."
