Cong should clarify its stand on reservation: Hardik

PAAS convenor Hardik Patel on Friday said Congress should clarify its stand on the Patidar reservation stir by July 30 in Gujarat. “Otherwise, we would decide our stand in community’s favour. The party should not believe that Patidars’ anger against the BJP government would benefit it,” Hardik said.

Hardik alongwith other PAAS leaders also met Himmatnagar convenor Ravi Patel, who was arrested during farmers’ rally on Wednesday, at Himmatnagar town police station. “Ranj ye nahi ke jo miley vo patthar ke log they, afsos ye hai ki isme chnd mere ghar ke log they (Regret is not that we met stone-hearted people but grudge is that some of them were our own),” Hardik added.

PAAS has organised a road show in 35 villages of Gondal taluka on Saturday to mark the second anniversary of the stir that has started in Mehsana. It will start from Gomta village and end at Derdi, where Hardik will address a gathering.
