Schools not giving admission to children under the Right to Education (RTE) Act will face action soon. With the President of OBC, SC, ST Ekta Manch filed a compliant against the schools that are not giving admission to RTE children, strict action has been demanded against them.

OBC SC, ST Ekta Manch President Mukesh Bharwad also wrote to Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Governor OP Kohli on Wednesday, narrating the present situation. In the letter, he mentioned that the second round of admissions were supposed to be declared in the last week of May, but has not been declared till date. I request you to declare the dates as soon as possible, as the future of 30,000 children is in a limbo.

The complaint filed against Crystal International Public school in Vastral, Gurukrupa Prathmik shala, Amraiwadi, Udgam school, and Anand Niketan school in Satellite, demanded strict action to be taken against these schools and investigate other schools as well. The complaint further stated that parents who are unable to pay are harassed the most. As per the Act, schools are not supposed to charge fees from these children, yet they are also insulting the parents."
