Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday launched Janyatra, a mobile application, along with dedicating projects and development works, worth Rs 411 crore. The app will give details about the routes and guide the traveller regarding stations. One can also book tickets using this app.

This is a part of the smart city project. In other projects, the CM dedicated a flyover to the public near to Balolnagar railway crossing in Ranip. While inaugurating, he said the bridge will ease the traffic burden. He said the government is committed to constructing underpasses and overbridges for the railway crossing across the state. "

"We are shaping the infrastructure project keeping in mind the next 25 years. There will be no paucity of the fund for public welfare schemes. We are doing development work and we'll continue doing the same," said Rapani.

"We have vouched to make Ahmedabad the best city equivalent to the best cities across the globe. This city is India's first world heritage city and also a part of the smart city project," remarked Rupani. He handed over selection letters to the youth selected in apprenticeship scheme.
