CID grills Vastrapur PI, constable in Rs 260 crore Ponzi Scheme case

The CID Crime branch on Tuesday grilled Vastrapur Inspector MM Jadeja and Constable Sarfaraz over allegedly being complicit in the Rs 260 crore Ponzi Scheme Case.

As per a senior CID official, there was an audio clip of Vinay Shah and Swapnil Rajput, both accused in the case, that had gone viral. 

In the audio clip, Shah can be heard alleging that he made arrangements with the Vastrapur police constable and inspector to go scot-free in the case; he even named the cops while staking these claims.

So, to probe it further, the CID had summoned the PI and the constable for their statements. They were grilled for around two hours at the CID office in Gandhinagar.
