A 23-year-old boy, who analysed the structure of satellites for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has topped the state in the Common Admission Test (CAT) held in November last year.

Harsh Mehta scored 99.98 percentile. Son of an education policy advisor to a number of state governments, Harsh found it difficult to prepare for CAT along with his job at ISRO.

Speaking about the same, Harsh, who has studied aerospace engineering from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Kerala, said, "At ISRO, my work timings were 9.00 am to 6.00 pm and I used to analyse the structure of satellites. Post work and coaching, I would dedicate one hour to preparing for CAT."

This was Harsh's first attempt at the exam. Sharing his tips, he said, "Clear concepts topic wise. Do not jump on chapters. Also, analysis of mock tests is the most important aspect to understand your strength and weakness and them form your own strategy." Post MBA, Harsh wants to start his own firm in the Aerospace sector.
