On Sunday evening a team of Bopal police arrested builder Keval Mehta who is accused of cheating in seven cases. He was arrested from near Bopal Ring Road, and further investigation is on. As per police officials, there are seven cheating cases lodged against Mehta in different police stations of Ahmedabad.

In a complaint lodged by Hatisinh Chaudhari and Rashmikant Rajput in the Bopal police station, alleged that they had supplied fabrication material worth Rs 4.33 lakh to the accused at the Ashraya 9 and 10 building scheme located in New Ranip area. But when they approached the accused for payment, they were threatened.

In another complaint lodged by victim Mitesh Prajapati, alleging that he supplied construction material worth Rs 4.55 lakh to Paradise building site located in Bopal. Prajapati was refused payment. Police have arrested Mehta and further investigation is on.

On March 10, yet another complaint was lodged with the Sabarmati police station against Keval Mehta, Jigisha Mehta, his wife, Hemlata Valecha and Vijay Mehta by Iankshi Prajapati alleging that they duped her by selling a flat and shop for Rs 60 lakh, and didn't provide original documents.
