App to arrange meet-ups for the disabled

In an attempt to help find love, an app Inclov that focuses on matchmaking for people with disability and health disorders has set up a meet up exclusively for such people.

The meet to be held at the Lemon Tree Hotel in the city on February 18 between 2 pm to 6 pm will provide a platform to users to come and interact with each other and find potential soulmates too.

The meet up that is titled Social Spaces are held in places that ensure 100% accessibility for disabled people. So far 30 meetups have been held across India.

Shankar Srinivasan, co-founder at Inclov said they have over 30,000 users and 7500 matches so far.

A match is when a person sends a request and the user to whom it is sent accepts it.

He said the app has thousands of users from Gujarat. “In fact, our first match was a girl from Surat and a guy from Junagadh. Both of them were polio-affected,” said Srinivasan.  He said the offline meetup in Ahmedabad has so far got 30 registrations. “We expect it to reach 50. In fact, walk-ins and on the spot registrations are also welcomed,” said Srinivasan.

Explaining how the app, which is free, works Srinivasan said any user will have to put in their personal details to create a profile.
