Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) president Amit Shah will conduct a roadshow in Kalol in Gandhinagar constituency on Sunday. The day also marks the birthday of Babasaheb Ambedkar and Ramnavmi, catering to important voter categories. Shah will also be meeting party workers in Ahmedabad city. Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union minister Parshottam Rupala and Mansukh Mandavia will also campaign.
According to sources in BJP, Shah will hold meetings with chairmen and secretaries of all the wards falling under Assembly constituencies of Sabarmati at 9 am, Ghatlodia at 11 am and Naranpura at 1:30 pm respectively. All these constituencies are strongholds of BJP.
Shah will then go to Kalol in Gandhinagar district, where he will conduct a roadshow. "Shah will first garland the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar and then cover the route along Tran Aangadi Circle, Khuni Bungalow, Railway Station, Khumar Bhavan, Tower Chowk, Jyotishwar Mahade, Old Fire Station, Nandlal Chowk, Vakhariya Char Rasta, Cobra Circle, Sharda Circle, Borisana Under Pass, Ambikanagar, Shriji Parlour and end at Hanuman temple," said a statement from BJP. Later on in the evening, Shah will meet prominent personalities of 12 villages of Gandhinagar taluka and leading workers of Gandhinagar city at 8:30 pm.
Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will conduct a roadshow in Jamalpur-Khadia assembly constituency at 10 am and then address a public meeting at Khanderao Market in Akota area of Vadodara city. Union minister Parshottam Rupala will campaign in Vapi, Kaprada, Valsad and Surat city. Another minister Mansukh Mandavia will conduct a series of meetings in Surat and Navsari Lok Sabha constituencies.
