A complaint was lodged with the Chandkheda police station on Tuesday by a lady doctor after an unidentifiedperson distributed pamphlets at her workplace with her phone number and photo saying that she is an escort.
The complaint was lodged by Ridhi (name changed), who is a physiotherapist and owns a clinic in Chandkheda area. She stated in her complaint that around ten months back she had her clinic on the first floor of a complex. But seeing her patients facing trouble in climbing the stairs, she shifted her clinic to a new complex which was located on the ground floor.
On March 10, she received a call from an unknown person asking for sexual favours. She disconnected the call immediately. On the next day, she again received a call from a different number asking about the same. She was getting random calls and had no idea why this was happening. She even narrated the entire matter to her husband and who planned to change the number to avoid such happenings.
On March 11, she received a call from a shopkeeper near her old clinic. He stated that someone had posted pamphlets outside her old clinic with her photo and number to ruin her image in society.
Ridhi's relatives reached the spot and removed the pamphlets from the walls. Later a complaint was lodged with the Chandkheda police station against the unidentified person and further investigation on the matter is in progress.
