Ahmedabad: 652 cases of waterborne diseases in June

A health bulletin issued by the health department of the civic body revealed on Monday that Ahmedabad witnessed 652 waterborne cases in first nine days of June. There are three cases of cholera reported during the same period.

Cases of gastroenteritis were 374, 139 cases of typhoid and 136 cases of jaundice have been reported for the same period. The team also collected 1158 samples of water. 147 cases of malaria have been reported.
