87 of 110 Gujarat National Law University students bag jobs

Almost 80 per cent of the students of 2013-18 batch of Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) has bagged jobs during the placement. Eighty-seven of the 110 students registered for placements, which is 79.10%, have bagged jobs. 

Also, while 14 students have opted for higher studies, 6 students are preparing for competitive examinations, including judiciary and civil services exam, Also, one student has opted to pursue his career in the entertainment industry.

The mix of recruiters includes regulatory authorities, policy-making companies, PSUs, law firms, corporate houses and financial institutions, etc. Forty-nine students have got jobs in law firms, 19 in corporate and financial institutions, two joined academics, 4 were chosen for policy making, 9 students were placed in lawyers chamber among the rest. Prominent recruiters included Cyril Amarchand Magaldas, Edelweiss ARC (Asset Reconstruction Company)
