The release also said that students of all schools and colleges will take part in the Yoga day celebrations in villages, towns and cities. It said that different voluntary organisations and religious organisations have also been roped in.

When it was first celebrated in 2015, 1.09 crore people had taken part in Yoga Day events in the state. In 2016, the number was 1.04 crore, while it rose to 1.16 crore last year.

"We are making all arrangements to ensure even greater participation of people in celebration of World Yoga Day," the release added.
