One more student became the victim of a teacher's wrath on Wednesday. A physics teacher at the Seventh Day Adventist school in Kankaria allegedly beat up a class XI student with a rubber pipe when he thought the student helping others during an exam.

When DNA contacted the principal of the school, he said he was attending an event and refused to share details. The victim's parent too did not wish to talk about the incident. However, according to parents of other students who reached the school, the victim, who doesn't want to be identified, was given the duty of keeping a watch in the laboratory where the practical examination of chemistry subject was being conducted.

One student was looking for specific chemical and failed to find it in the lab. The victim reportedly helped him find the chemical. This led the physics teacher, observing the proceedings, to doubt that the victim helped students in the exam. He beat him with a rubber pipe meant to water trees, said one of the parents who rushed to school after the incident.
