Around 10,000 students will be reappearing for the Human Resource Management (HRM) paper of the third year Bachelor of Management Studies course.

The paper which was leaked on Friday will be conducted around mid-December.

The Board of Examination (BoE) of the University of Mumbai, on Sunday took this decision. A committee is also set up by the Board to probe to the paper-leak matter.

Prof. Vilas Shinde, Controller of Examination, said, “The BoE has taken the decision of re-conducting the exam of the HRM paper. The exam will be conducted by the mid-December. Strict actions will be taken against the guilty.”

According to information provided by Shinde,University has filed an FIR in Bandra Kurla Police Station,  after the Vice-Chancellor appointed committee, under the chairmanship of S T Gadade, a management council member, confirmed the paper leak. Moreover a committee has been set up to conduct the internal level enquiry in the paper leak matter. The university has filed a complaint as per the MaharashtraUniversities Act, 1994 and also Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices Act,1982.

Paper for HRM of the TYBMS was conducted on Friday. However a night before the paper day, students allegedly started getting messages of the questions. Moreover, question papers were distributed outside a Bandra College. However, university officials who initially thought of it as a rumour; confirmed the leak only after the paper bundle was opened at 10.30am.
