Avanashilingam University for Women is hosting a national seminar on 'quality enhancement in Higher Education on March 18.
The seminar, being held under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell banner, would be attended by over 100 delegates from across the country, university chancellor TK Shanmughanandam said today.
The seminar, to be addressed eminent speakers, including UGC member, E Balagurusamy, would have themes such as quality enhancement of education in multi-disciplines, globalization of higher education-challlenges and opportunities, and
industry-Institution linkage for quality assurance, he said.
University vice-chancellor Saroja Prabhakaran said a Wi-Fi system was being introduced for the benefit of its students. The Rs.one crore project would be inaugurated by Union communications and IT minister A Raja on March 20.
