MS University faculty irked over pay issue

The professors of the MS University have raised their opposition in the current government resolution (GR) with reference to the implementation of the latest pay commission. Various unions of the professors from the varsity have raised their voice against various additional points which are included in GR.

The Baroda University Teachers Association (BUTA) and Teachers association of university have raised their oppositions of some points which are included in the GR with reference to the latest pay commission. According to the president of BUTA, Dr II Pandya, many points have irked the teachers.

The members of BUTA conducted a meeting in Ahmedabad with the senior members of other associations, after which it was decided that if the GR will not be corrected by November 17 then they will have to go on strike to oppose the entire GR.
