In tune with the theme of empowering creativity, the organisers hosted challenging sessions for the young design enthusiasts of the various technical institutes. Malnad College of Engineering from Hassan won the overall championship trophy.

Among the events organised were bridge designing in which students had to make bridges with a few pieces of wood, glue and strings, master designing, geo technique, RS and GIS quiz, and techno champ.

Also in the line up was creative modelling in which new comers in the field of design tried to create innovative designs. The latest addition to the list of events this year was RS and GIS quiz which tested the skills of students to identify land features and thematic map preparation.

Techno champ, a crowd-puller, tested the students' ability to face challenges and stress. Mix designer competition saw students trying to create the perfect concrete mixture from the given materials. Some of the latest entrants in the field of civil engineering took part in a brain storming session on key issues pertaining to the field.

However, the number of participants was low this year due to examinations.
