It was a peaceful day for candidates who attempted the online Common Admission Test (CAT)exam on Tuesday. The morning and afternoon sessions went smoothly with no cancellations. However, a few cases of technical problems created delays.
Candidates who could not attempt the test due to cancellations and technical difficulties on the first three days have still not received any information on the rescheduling of their exam. With engineering exams set to start from December 9 in the city, candidates are hoping the rescheduled dates will not clash with the semester exams.
Also, reports of mass cheating are pouring in. “Invigilators do not shut off their phones and chat with each other. Some candidates reboot the computer so that they can get extra time,” said Rohit Awasthi, spokesperson, PaGalGuY.com.
“The tests were supposed to be different each day, but many questions are repeated,” said Arks Srinivas, director of TIME.
