Richter 10, the annual cultural festival of Institute of Management - Nirma University (IMNU), kicked off on Friday on the sprawling premises of the university. Students from over 25 business schools across the country participated in games, singing, dancing, and stage play. The day ended with a rock event in which amateur rock bands competed with each other.

The two-day event will have 19 programmes conceptualised, coordinated and managed by students' teams. The event will also include offbeat programs such as T-shirt designing, collage making, movie making and exciting competitions, with total prizes worth Rs 2 lakhs and more.

The grand finale of the event features a live concert by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, the famous music composers from Bollywood, accompanied by members of Vishal's band 'Pentagram'.

About 200 students from various B-schools across the country are expected to participate. Participation by IIMA, MICA, IPMG, NMIMS Mumbai, KJ Somaiya Mumbai, IMT Ghaziabad, Christ College Bangalore and other top business schools have been confirmed.

Like every year, this year's Richter 10 promises to be an adrenaline-racing event which will prove to be an enthralling experience for both contestants and the audience.
