The class 12 results of CBSE schools in the Ajmer, Chennai and Panchkula regions were declared on Wednesday.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) doesn’t follow the practice of declaring the top 10 students in the merit list of HSC and SSC examinations, either state-wise or region-wise.

However, on the basis of information available so far, it appears that Achuthan Sekar, a student of Prakash School, is the topper in the Science stream of CBSE’s HSC exam in the city, and may be the topper in the whole state. The CBSE’s HSC (Class 12) results for the Ajmer region (which includes Gujarat) were declared on Wednesday.

The class 12 results of CBSE schools in the Ajmer, Chennai and Panchkula regions were declared on Wednesday. Ajmer region secured 84.59 per cent pass results. Around 78,885 students had appeared in the exam from this region from CBSE-affiliated schools of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and the Union Territory of Diu. There are around 104 CBSE-affiliated schools with HSC in the state; 5605 students had appeared in the examination this year from Gujarat.
