TRAINING PROGRAMME
ICICIdirect Centre for Financial Learning (ICFL) recently announced a strategic alliance with Ideal Education Private Ltd for promoting various financial training and certification courses. Through this alliance, they will offer training programmes for international certifications to learners in the domain of financial planning, wealth management, securities market and other aspects of finance. The training programmes will be broadcast live across around 70 locations where Ideal Education has a satellite class set up.
NATIONAL CONFERENCE
A two-day national conference of the 2013-14 'Tata First Dot powered by NEN' recently felicitated six winners of Tata First Dot National Competition – Jury Choice and five winners of Tata First Dot People's Choice Competition. The conference was designed to enable recognition, access to knowledge, mentor and network for student entrepreneurs. A series of un-conference sessions, on-spot Tata challenges and entrepreneur talks were conducted.
PLACEMENTS
Many IT companies are believed to be hiring after two years of slow recruitment. New Horizon College of Engineering was one of the colleges that attracted about 50 companies in the past 45 days and nearly 75 per cent of eligible students from BE, MCA, M.Tech, MBA passing out batch of 2014 were rolled offers in the ongoing placement season.

The company received the "Energy Efficiency Leader Award" for its work on engineering (utilities) systems at "PRITECH Park SEZ" Bangalore, which is also a LEED Platinum certified facility. RGA Software Systems Pvt. Ltd. collaborates with organisations to design smarter buildings with energy and operationally efficient, highly instrumented and interconnected systems.
