Get your CAT score at www.catiim.in

The anxious wait for students who have spent sleepless nights working hard for the Common Entrance Test (CAT), a gateway to the Mecca of Management, will end on Wednesday when the CAT results are out. Students can access the results at www.catiim.in. 

With the declaration of the CAT results, the decks are cleared for the admission to nine IIMs and many non-IIM B-Schools.

Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L), which was in charge for the online CAT examination, is all set to upload the results on Wednesday.

Prof Himanshu Rai of IIM-L said, "Everything is set and the results will be uploaded on the website on Wednesday. Students will be able to access their score after inserting password and registration number."

According to the data available, around 1,86,238 students had appeared for the online CAT. "The number of absentees was around 8.83%, which is not unusual," said Prof Rai.

Recently, a panic wave spread among CAT students when rumours of leakage of CAT results spread during a trial check of the website by IIM-L.

Prof Rai, however, says that now there is no possibility of any such leakage and students will be able to know their results on Wednesday. No specific time has been announced. Around 6,000 students appeared for CAT from Ahmedabad.
