Eight male engineers score 100 in CAT, three from Mumbai

All the eight toppers of Common Admission Test 2013 (CAT) who scored 100 percentile are all male and engineers. While four of them hail from Andhra Pradesh, three are from Mumbai and one from Delhi.

IIM-Indore has declared the results today at 9 am. According to CAT officials, two of the perfect scorers have a master's degree in engineering, the others have a bachelor's degree. Three have a work experience of 12-24 months in automobile, banking services and information technology sectors.

Of the 10 candidates who have scored 99.99 percentile, only one is a woman.
A total of 1,73,738 candidates had taken the test which was coordinated by IIM-Indore. The online test qualifying which gives entry to best business schools in India, was conducted from October 16 to November 11 across 40 cities.

While top CAT scorers would get admission in IIMs where over 3,335 seats are available, several other top management schools use CAT score for admission.
