Delhi University reopens doors with fourth cut-off list

Gargi, Acharya Narayan Dev and Maitreyi reopen admissions for Commerce, Economics, English.

The fourth cut-off list announced by Delhi University on Sunday brought good news for students who want to study Commerce, Economics and English as a few colleges have reopened admissions for these courses.

Due to cancelling of admissions by students, three colleges, namely Gargi College, Acharya Narayan Dev College and Maitreyi College, have reopened admissions for Commerce in the current list. Acharya Narayan Dev College has reopened admissions for the popular course at 95.5%. At Gargi College, you may get to study this subject at 94.75%, and at Maitreyi College it is available at 93%. Economics seats are available at Sri Venketeswara College at 96.25%.

Similarly, admissions to English has also been reopened at three colleges. At Maitreyi College, you may get into the prestigious course at 91.5%. The course is available at 84.5% at PGDAV College and is available at 94% at SGTB Khalsa.

Commerce has seen an overall decrease of 0.5-1% as compared to the third list. At Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, it has come down from 97%  to 96.5%. English has also seen a decrease of 0.25-1% in the current list. At Hansraj, the subject is available at 95.5%, a 0.5% drop from third list. There is a decrease of 0.5-2% in Economics. At Kamala Nehru College Economics is available at 92.5%, a 2% drop from the third cut-off list.

Science courses have also seen a marginal decrease of 0.5-2%. Daulat Ram College has reopened Botany at 89.66%. The admission process under the fourth list will kick-off on Monday.
